Iron is the central component of haemoglobin, which carries oxygen from the lungs to every cell in the body. Without enough iron: fatigue, breathlessness, a pale complexion. Combined with spirulina and vitamins B6, B9 and B12 which support red blood cell formation, and in bisglycinate form, it is absorbed efficiently without the digestive upset typical of iron.
